ACT2021 was the first of a series of events by North Lanarkshire Council which encouraged staff, partners, residents and businesses to take action on climate change in the lead up to the Conference of Parties (COP26). With the council committed to meet the ambitious target of net zero by 2030, the event was an opportunity to debate what can be done to face these challenges head-on.
Climate change is no longer some far-off problem. It’s happening here, it’s happening now.
The virtual event took place over one day and featured keynotes by industry experts, debates with attendees and a whole host of real-time audience interactions to help keep delegates engaged and involved. The event was a huge success with an average attendee score of 9.3.
