When it comes to restaurants, bars and pubs, Scotland has a lot to offer – so much so that it can be hard to choose where to go. But fear not! The list of nominees for the 2018 Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards has got you covered, giving you insight into the finest food and drink establishments in the biz.
The SLTN Awards, now in its 23rd year, celebrates the very best places and people in Scotland’s licensed trade industry. Trophies are presented across 23 categories, including (*deep breath*): Whisky Bar of the Year, Cocktail Bar of the Year, Rum Bar of the Year, Gin Bar of the Year, Bartender of the Year, Mixologist of the Year, Independent Pub/Bar of the Year, Restaurant of the Year…and many more. AKA, all the good stuff.
We were delighted to provide the full event production and theming for the event at The Hilton in Glasgow (and not just because we were hoping for a few free cocktails). We designed the awards with an ‘Oscars’ feel, creating a glamorous and glittering evening to reflect the hard work of the superstar nominees.
It was a joy to work with SLTN to bring these awards to life. Our only regret is that we couldn’t be the judges of the Beer Quality Award…
Congrats to all those who took home the coveted SLTN corkscrew trophies. We won’t ask about the hangovers…
